Default Tints

Looking for a shop to do the tints on my car.

I've always done 5% on my trucks, which is nice, but I'm not sure if I want to go that dark on this car. I'm more concerned about being able to see everything I need to. With it being 5%, it may make these blind spots worse than they already are.

Suggestions on local shops and tint %?

35% all the way around is legal in IL now, but I'm concerned more about being able to see if it were any darker. I haven't had a problem with darker tint for many years.

35% all the way around is legal in IL now,
Mine where done by the original owner (in Texas) and I do have a bit of trouble at night. But I usually drive with the windows down so it isn't much of a problem...

Public Act 096-0815
Effective 10/30/2009

35% Front/35% Rear - or - 50% Front/30% Rear

UNDER 30% ON ANY REAR WINDOW MAKES IT ILLEGAL TO TINT IN FRONT (unless vehicle is classified "MPV" and has privacy glass - 50% Front).

I went with Greg Weiss in Aurora. He did my 78 rear window in one piece and no bubbles.

Another thumbs up for Greg, he did a great job on my C4. I'd be taking the C5 to him if it wasn't already tinted when I bought it.
