Another reason to stay out of the dump known as Chicago.

I get east of Rt. 83 I start to break out in a sweat. At 7200 west (Harlem Ave.) I break out in a grand mal seizure. I hate that f*****g city.

Also Ironic that Ahole Quinn is soooo concerned about saving a life, yet he does not seem that concerned about the shootings that take place EVERYDAY in Chicago nor does he care about the rights of law abiding citizens to protect themselves with CCWs!!
Yea, but keep voting for the democrats.....

Couldn't agree more on your shooting comment it is so frakkin ridiculous that there is no push to enforce reasonable laws preventing criminals from buying guns illegally. Because it's so much easier to corral those law abiding citizens and make them easier targets.

Our "leaders" are such a joke. And I cannot stress how loosely I am using the term leader. Every time they want to tug on somebodies heart strings they use the children.

I HATE the entire State of Illinois, worst state in the Country , and the Chicago City Limits really makes me want to .
If it wasant for family and career I would be LONG gone, and I would be shooting in my backyard right now somewhere down south or southwest, where the vette and other cool cars would be driven year round! SOMEDAY I hope!

Hey, look on the bright side. At least a TV didn’t fall on you or a wrong way driver come in your direction!

I’m waiting for kneejerk legislation ordering TV’s be securely mounted to their stands and the stands be securely mounted to the floor at taxpayers’ expense (for those who can’t afford it) after an in-depth study by a crony corporation paid for by the taxpayers…

"Governor Pat Quinn signed a bill into law Monday that allows the city to use the cameras near schools and parks.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel says the cameras will improve safety for children, but critics say the cameras will just be money-makers and won't improve safety.
Drivers could be fined up to $100.
Quinn is fond of using the phrase, "Let the will of the people be the law of the land."
Despite overwhelming public correspondence opposing speed cameras in Chicago, Quinn agreed with his fellow politicians.
"I think it's important that people understand that around schools and parks it is important to slow down," Quinn said."

I hear there is going to be a huge rush of criminals down to city hall to register the guns they have.
Ah common sense is in such short supply among those who makes the rules to govern everyone but themselves.

I am glad I left my big lawyer job in downtown Chicago 5.5 years ago.
I am just outside St. Louis and I couldn't be happier...
Well maybe happier...
