I love the Columbus Zoo show. I don't think I will make it there in the Corvette this year, but we might stop by and do a walk around the cars and the zoo to get a little exercise.

Then if the weather is nice on the 20th.... well, this could be the first year I would try and make it down for the Restoration Station tour. That one always sounds like a lot of fun.

Any pics of the Columbus Zoo event today?

We made it up there for a little bit. We walked the zoo first, then walked out and got to see a couple of rows before the ladies said it was time to head home. I got a few pictures taken, but they were with my DSLR. When we got home I pulled out the camera to plug into my "new" machine and it didn't recognize my old camera. Ok, pull out the compact flash card reader and plug it in, oh wait, the connector in the reader for the usb is broken. I will see if I can find one tomorrow, otherwise it might be a few days before I can get a card reader.

Even with the rain, they had a decent turn out in my opinion. Have to say, I miss the cars actually parking inside the park. You could get a few shots of the zoo in the background, but it was hard to once again take shots that didn't look like a show in another parking lot.

Well, nothing too exciting about these. I was taking these very quickly (so the ladies didn't get bored and to beat the rain) and it looks like my focus is out a bit too on some of these. I was using a very old lens for the first time. But here are a few.

With the season just about over, I thought I would post this for those interested in the 2020 C8 Corvette. Go to the "Chevrolet" site, then "build your Chevy" then "Corvette". Build your own C8 and find out how much it would cost. Here is mine.

I called to ask the color of the C8 and the answered was they didn't know, but the FREUDIAN SLIP was red. Just saying.
