Looks like I'm a little late for c & c...see you in April .

 

Well, for some of us the season ended yesterday at the last Columbus Cars & Coffee of the year. I met a lot of CF members this year and made several good friends. Enjoy the holidays, be careful and if we dont gtg for a beer over the winter... see you next spring or at Buds to see the new C7.

 

When will this event be at Buds?

 

As soon as they get a delivery date we will set a date for this event. I will start a thread after the holidays promoting the event and BUDS. Thanks for the interest.

For 2013 the Ohio Events sticky will be in two parts/sections:

SECTION 1: Ohio car shows/cruz-in and social events.
Organized & edited by dahogan.

SECTION 2: Ohio Racing & Performance Events.
Organized & edited by Arachnyd.

The new section will perhaps serve the younger generation and/or those of you with newer corvettes. Arachnyd (aka Brooks) is very qualified for this and I appreciate his help. Please continue to PM either of us for event dates/info not already posted. Suggestions are always appreciated. We have begun to post 2013 dates on the first post.

Or just post your info/event on this thread as 69Cam620 did below in post #70.

From talking with several CF members yesterday at Columbus Cars & Coffee, it sounds like there is some interest in a corvette caravan from Columbus to Springfield to attend one of the monthly events. An ideal meeting place would be Columbus Cars & Coffee, depart around 9am and arrive a little after 10am.

This two day car show is the best in central Ohio and this year now even better. Close to one thousand cars with a lot of corvettes of all generations. Well run and the people are great with plenty of good food and shade. One hundred Six (6) foot trophies presented Friday evening.

Yes, this is correct. You will be able to see not one, but TWO C7 2014 Corvette Stingrays at the 31Annual Arthritis Foundation Classic Auto Show & Cruise In. The show is held on July 12th & 13th at the Dublin Metro Center in Dublin, Ohio. (Northwest side of Columbus, Ohio) The 2014 Corvette Stingrays will only be there on Saturday, July 13th from 7a -4p. Corvette Plant manager Dave Tatman will also be on hand to conduct a "walk a round" presentation of the new Stingray and to answer all your questions.

There will be between 1500 - 2000 vehicles on Friday and Saturday. As part of the show, we are celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Corvette. On Friday it's open parking. We will give out 100 six foot tall trophies on Friday. On Saturday Corvettes have the premier blacktop parking area. There is plenty of shade in the Corvette parking area. (The mustang guys are not happy with us.) Corvettes are judged only against other Corvettes and the judging is done by classes on Saturday.

One other very cool event for the people arriving on Thursday, July 11th is the "Rolling Legends Tour". We will leave the show area and drive back roads to Mid Ohio Race Track in Lexington Oh. Once there, you will receive a tour, box lunch and several laps around the track.
