So....after a long mild winter I finally got off my butt and decided on a plan to get some stuff done on my Vette and get ready for Spring. I did the Dinoc console, dash and steering wheel mod. That turned out great and I got a lot of thumbs up last weekend. Next up was tighten up the suspension. Bilstein shocks, Z51 sway bars, Zo6 spring and some Michelin PS2ZP's. I wanted to do the CCW 505a's but I wasn't having any luck selling my 7 Spoke wheels. I did some soul searching and decided to just keep the rims and lose the rubber. I had ordered some Pilot sport A/S plus ZP's from Discount Tire. Dropped off the tires/wheels this morning. When I went to pick up the tires I noticed they had ordered PS2ZP's. They gave me the PS2's for the same price as the A/S's! I came home, lowered the rear as far as it would go on the stock bolts, installed the new rubber, and changed the oil.
Man this car has been transformed. Smooth, flat, stable, and quiet.
A few more coats of Zaino and we are ready to go!
Looking forword to a Bolingbrook road trip Saturday !
