"Mann's Corvette"
I am not sure as to whom owns it now. However, I assume that since the Business still bares the last name of Mann, the Mann's family still has some input.
After dealing with Steve Mann for 20 years, I took my 12,000 mile 1996 Chevy to the "Newly acquired" Corvette shop for minor work (a scratch and some paintless ding removal) and received it back in worse condition than it was initially left.
I complained to the new manager and was told "We Don't Detail cars after their repair". I.e, the over spray and swirl marks that we put on your 12,000 mile '96 is your responsibility to remove or pay us to remove!
Wow, thanks Steve, you are maintaining your father's strict standards... Wait, let me reiterate; You stepped up your "savvy" you now allow and serve minorities.
Bottom line, the new regime is even worse than the original regime; that was forced to sell out due to suspected financial reasons!
To Mann's;
Businesses like yours are the reason that loyalty no longer has a meaning in America!
The USA and every Place Else!

It had several. The original owner properly stored the Impala SS under a car cover, in his garage. However, he had children... Plus, I purchased it 100 miles away and drove it home on the Freeway...
Let's not get off track!
It's perfect now! I had to spend $300.00 to have it Professionally Detailed after taking it to Mann's and paying them almost $1,500.00.
Thanks Mann's...

It seems so long ago.
However, my youth seems like just yesterday, that is so surreal.
In time, I forgot about the details of my incounter with Mann's and as a Christine, the incident was forgiven. After three years and only 1000 miles on the SS, I recently needed a repaire and instinctively went to Mann's.
I was informed that due to lack of business, Mann's Corvette was going out of Business.
I must admit, my feelings were conflicted. "You reep what you sew"! However, I forgive and in today's China (and every other despot) vs America environment, I don't want to see another American Company go out of business?
Unfortunately, it may be too late for Mann's but for all and any other business that fails to remember: "the numerous businesses need the limited qualified consumer". However, "we only need one of you"!
Treat your consumers and anyone that ventures into your business well, America needs every business to be successful.

Not trying to be a smart aleck, but "you reap what you sow".
Mann's R.I.P.
