I'm Back!
We left last Saturday with the Sunburst Vette Club for a blast down to Indy and then back roads to the Museum. That was cool! Lot of fun. We gave these cars a run for thier money! On Sunday we had a dinner hosted by the NCM and Monday toured the plant. Monday afternoon I high tailed it down to Sarasota to help my parents with thier house. I worked for 3 days on my Dad's list. We left Fla. on Saturday AM and stayed again in BG last night. 2800 miles later we are home. 28.5 average MPG including blasting around all of the back roads last Sunday! The mountains between Kentucky. Tennessee, and Northern Georgia were great. I have made that trip for years and always wanted to do it in a Vette. If you ever get a chance take I-65 / 24 /75 through the mountains. You will have a smile on your face for a year!
