Figured I would some how make this corvette related (hence the title)!! WELL, are we going to see any hockey this year or what????? Last blurb I read pretty much (kinda) sums it up "Millionaires vs Billionaires". I can barley rub two nickels together and drinking Yellow Tail (that' right Brad-Yellow Tail !!!!). Any insite from you hockey aficionados?
JV - Close enough, your our goalie, get ready to lace'em up!!!! Hope all is well with you Johnny!!!!!!!! What happened to the good old days, it seems the only person I run into is Jimmy @ the Lombard Cruise Nights, & he is generally Vetteless (a MOPAR turncoat!!!): Later!!
I'm more worried about the Bears Playing two games within 5 days, can you say early season injuries!!!
As much as I hate to say it, I have a gut felling injuries are going to play a major role this season especially with Urlacker (sp) starting out iffy. I think this will be it for da coach!!!

Randy,
I have been captive in cheese land. I did make Downers Grove once this season in the 57 BelAir. I may drag the 03 Vet out and go on a fall color run next month here in the cheddar curtain.
On the Hockey note I never watch. My nephew was recruited for the Phoenix Jr Coyotes AAA Elite team this season. He was happy to say goodbye after two years of Culver Military hockey.
[QUOTE=Quick Silver Z;1581778827]I don't even remeber what that Mopar Jimmy guy looks like.
Could be Jimmys stunt double! - He never lets me use his first name when I talk to him. Something about a witness protection plan (or something about billable hours!!!!).
Last time we met it didn't go well!!!

Funny you mention Downers, just got back from Bally Doyles!!! Culver Military is a very nice place, one of my sons friends played there. Getting to the AAA elite level if quite an accomplishment, it's a long road to the show (so to speak) not to mention "very" expensive!! By the way, when I said I could barely rub two Nickels together, I was not referring to you!!!!!!!! I was also thinking about doing a fall color run next month "rrriiiight". Maybe I'll run into you!!!

Robert, good one my friend!
Randy,
At least we run into each other about once a year my friend at Lombard Saturday night summer cruise nights and your right the vette hasan't made it there in several years.
Heck, if you would drive more than 50 miles a year in your vette and make Downers Grove once in awhile (like you use to) I would run into you three times a year.
I think there will be hockey but were are going to miss a month or two just like the basketball season. Those darn owners on really greedy pigs!
