The Great Lakes forum seems to be devoid of Minnesota news so far this year. This has been an exceptionally long winter but we should be starting to see some local car show activity. I know that I can't be the only one with CCF (Corvette Cabin Fever). The first flyer that I have received is for the Eden Valley 15th Annual Valley Daze Car and Tractor Show. It is scheduled for June 22nd, 8 AM to 2 PM. We went last year and there were plenty of beautiful cars, trucks, motorcycles, and a separate area with farm tractors. Eden Valley is situated in rural farming country about 70 miles west of the twin cities. There are about 30 show categories for cars and motorcycles and there is a designated corvette category. And, it is a peoples' choice voting show with nice trophies for the winners. Another note, some of the local shows that we have attended discourage participation among newer cars or they are club or church group sponsored with only the club/church members being recognized in the voting.
