Got chills down my spine.
For all of you, who don't know, I farm for a living. 1300 acres of corn plus soybeans by myself. On 9-11-01 I was shelling corn in a 40 acre field in Christian, Co. IL. I have a TV that I use for a closed circuit camera system on the combine. My wife called me and told me about a plane crashing into a building no other details so I turned it on as the WTC buildings were going down. I can't describe my feelings at the time just rage. As I went about my work I heard about the fourth plane crashing into a Pennsylvania field. Well I was in that same field today cultivating beans. I thought how ironic that Rudy, Patrick, Cathy, Gwen and the rest of the Star's and Stripe's crew were at that very site. I think about this still and Shivver.
Being in the parade from Saturday till Monday, I wish I could have been there but work called. God bless this Star's and Stripe's Parade. God bless the USA. As Toby Kieth said: A sucker punch from the back. You'll get a boot in the A@@.

I too will forever remember that day, exactly what I was doing, and what I saw. I was there at the time.
