Mechanic within reasonable distance of Chicago
Hi,
I just ordered a 2015 Corvette Stingray, 7sp, Z51, magnetic ride control direct from the factory. It may take as long as 12 weeks to arrive which is fine as it is winter time in Chicago.
I am planning to add an Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger and B&B Fusion exhaust.
I am looking for some good advice on a shop to do the work that is not more than a a couple of hours away. I have been in contact with Finish Line Performance, Modern Muscle and Speed Inc. which are all relatively close. My problem is that none of them have installed an Edelbrock E-Force on a C7 Corvette. I also conacted Lingenfelter in Indiana. They have done this install before, but they will need the car for 3 to 4 weeks and they are about 3 1/2 hours away. I am confident that Lingenfelter would do a good job, but I am not thrilled with giving up the car for 3-4 weeks unless I get the car when it is still winter and than have it trailered which of course adds to the expense. The driving season in Chicago is already short enough.
What would you do?
Chris
