Show Suggestions!
Hello all!
With the 2015 show season nearing a close, and the 2016 season sneaking up quick, we want your input! In addition to events such as Corvettes at Carlisle, Bloomington Gold, Corvette Homecoming, our own Funfest, etc., we will be hitting the road and attending many new shows across the country in 2016. We want to know what your favorite shows are and where you'd like to see us go!

Vettes on the Plains, held by the Kansas City Corvette Association is a fun show with a good turnout each year. Usually held in August.

I agree. This is a great show. I wasn't able to make it this year because I was out of town, but this one has grown each year. As said. All corvettes and in a nice downtown location.

CORVETTES ON WOODWARD A three day event that includes meet & greet 500 Corvettes from all over US and Canada, Tours of the GM heritage Center (GM's private Museum and tours to Lingenfelter Collection and Stahl's Automotive Foundation. It is a charity event supporting the Open Hands Food Pantry. Starts on Wednesday August 17- 19 Vette Magazine called it one of the best Regional Show east of the Mississippi. This is my personal event so you can contact me at vjnlcsvette@aol.com for more information. You can also Google Corvettes on Woodward for lots of videos and pictures.
This year we started the Generations Display complete with a souvenir Book. Each Generation Corvette was highlighted by a Special Corvette with a unique story.
The event is held the same week as Woodward Dream Cruise and is part of Michigan's Corvette Fantacy Week that begins with Corvettes America Show, Corvettes on Woodward and ends with Back to the Bricks. Plus you have a whole week of Woodward Dream Cruise.

CORVETTES IN THE D, VETTES FOR VETS.
2016 will be the fourth year for this event hel the last Sunday in June at GM World Headquarters, the Ren Cen in Detroit. The first year I did a Corvette Birthday/Anniversary Party. The second year I feature Corvette Racing at Le Mans and the Corvette Racing Trailer was ther broadcasting the race LIVE. Last year was the year of the Z06 and seven unique Z06 Corvettes were on display. A 32 page souvenir book accompanied the display and had history of the Z06 and stories about the seven featured Corvettes.
2016 will be the year of the Grand Sport. I am looking for unique Grand Sports along with great stories to feature. The cars will be featured in the souvenir book.
Corvettes in the D also features seminars by Paul Koerner, the Corvette Mechanic along with Brittany George. There is also a GM Corvette display.
Blooming Gold runs Thurs, Friday and Saturday. That is why this is on Sunday.
This is also a charity event wit h proceeds going to a local Veterans Group and a group that send CARE packages to those currently serving over seas.
This is another event my wife and I organize here in Michigan. We are also looking for vendors and advertisers in the book.
