Default [MN] Sept 14th Run

Well ladies and germs, it's getting close. Do you have the Active Handling Run, Part IV on your calendar yet? LOTS of twisty roads. Here is the original post by Tonys96.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=353811

Here are the details:

Anybody interested, a full day cruise. 100 miles of highway to really good roads, see testimonial on file from C5North.
Go south on 52 to 16 take 16 east to Houston and then go south on 76 to Caledonia, then turn around and drive 76 (repeat) until your grin hurts . Drive south on 76 to just north of the Iowa border take Houston Co Rd 27 east to Spring Grove, turn left on 44, then just outside of town turn right on Houston Co Rd 4 thru Black Hammer and Yucatan. It'll hook back in to 76 just south of Houston. From Houston follow 16 back to 52 at Preston

Endorsed by the "Official Events Coordinator"

P.S. This is a run in extreme southern MN that will start just south of St. Paul. If any Forum members in northern IA, southern MN, or western WI, HECK even you Sioux Falls guys, wants to come, PLEASE LET US KNOW AHEAD OF TIME. We could find a place to meet up with you guys. It would be a blast to meet some of you from outside the Twin Cities!!!!

Wouldn't Amanda enjoy meeting the guys......Guys may enjoy meeting Amanda.

We could always do a S.O. run, take it back a notch or two and maybe cruise around Lake Pepin and have a stop for a nice lunch somewhere.

Any interest.

Saturday or Sunday. I'm ready to roll either day.

Yeah, Amanda can always come along...I think we can tone things down a little. Actually we probably SHOULD tone things down a little. Maybe the next "run" should be a "cruise".

Amanda and I are doing the state fair on Saturday and she is wedding dress shopping on Sunday.

Perhaps we should tone it down a bit. A nice cruise around Lake Pepin sounds good. Do you think we could do that on the 7th and then the AutoX on the 8th? :reddevil

If I understood the question correctly, I think 1 or 2, the rest have gone on to greener pastures (3M etc)

Tony, check out this thread in Mountain-Prairie.

I invited our fellow Sioux Falls, SD Corvetters. It looks like Diamond is the only one that has responded with some interest so far. I figure that road down there is WELL worth the drive from SD. :yesnod:
