need alignment chicago area ??
where is the best place to get an alignment for the c5 in chicago's north western suberbs ??? thanks JV

I used the mechanic that does my company truck servicing, he's in Addison. I've been using him for company and personal vehicles for about 15 years.
He does a lot of work on older vettes too. I supplied the specs and he did the work. Paid about $130 for the job. I had lowered my 98 and didn't want to wait to see if the tires wore funny. 630 543 6040 ask for Gus, tell him Jim from DuPage told you to call. If you need more info, email me. Stilcrazee@aol.com

Nitro is right, Addison Alignment is good too, they have been ther forever. On Lake street west of Mill Road, north side.
Also saw your post in Tech, Just tires on North Ave, Elmhurst, just east of 83.

Had a beach of a time finding someone to the do the job. Was turned away (or called after dropping off the car that they couldn't do it) at a bunch of places. Went to Woodfield Chevy (on Golf Road in Schaumburg). They have Hunter electronic equipment and (obviously) lots of experience with vettes. Very happy with the work, and only charged me $75.00. They offered to do the job while I waited.

Hey John,
I would contact Bernard Chevy in Libertyville.
They did a 4-wheel alignment on mine a year or more ago. Their alignment tech is very good and very respectful of your Vette.
