Corvette Funfest 2016
For all of you here in the Midwest who did not attend Corvette Funfest you missed something very cool. Yes there was some rain on Friday but Sat. was great and so was the final day today Sunday. Saturday evening at the concert just before it started much to almost every ones surprise, even all the employees at Mid America, there was a Wedding. Yes a real Wedding. Mike Yager came out on stage just before the band and asked his sister in law to come out on stage. Well she was about 5 minutes late but when she did show up 2 employees of Mid America were asked to come out onto the stage and it was Blake Yager (Mikes youngest son and his girl friend Tabby. Now Mikes Sister in law MARRIED them in front of all who attended the concert. Mikes brother Kenny and none of the other employees of Mid America knew that this was going to happen. What an outstanding surprise and I know from me and I am sure all who were there I wish the new couple nothing but the best for the rest of there lives. Congratulations to you both.

It was definitely a good time. It was fun "mudding" in the vette. Almost got stuck at one point but I made it out alive. It turns out that Vette's don't melt in the rain. I have photo's to prove it.
Here's a few videos of Dennis DeYoung's performance. I thought it was an excellent concert and as far as I'm concerned he is Styx! You'll have to forgive the poor video quality. I was 2-300ft away and I didn't have a tripod.

I truly was a great show! 90 Minutes with 1 hit after another. You are so right that Dennis is Styx, what a voice.
It was also a treat to see Mike's 54 Corvair there also!!!
