Tire Rack AutoX!!!
Last race of the season it would be great to see some more Corvettes show up.
It is being held on the Tire Rack Test Track in South Bend, Indiana. It will cost $15 for SCCA members $20 for non-members. It is on Oct. 20th, registration will be between 9:00-10:30 and the fisrt car is off at 11:45est.

Man, I've raced up there 3 weekends this year! All were NCCC sanctioned events. I love the place, nice and smooth! AND.....it's easy on tire wear! (sorry Luke!)
This past Labor Day we had around 75 Corvette enteries (drivers), usaully around 45 drivers.
MongooseLT4: You should try the NCCC events there next year!
B.T.W.- It's a very safe track to run, nothing really to hit if you spin! Just grass all around the track. You will like it.
MongooseLT4: Do you ever run at "Grissom Aeroplex" by Peru, IN. ?? I love that place also! Just a little harder on tire wear :eek:

I've been to grissom twice, I love the place its so open and fast. I didn;t have the vettte at that time tho, I was racing my camaro.
Give me some more information the NCCC events, who are they, what are they and when are they. :cheers: Thanks

in 2002 they ran one weekend in April, Memorial Day weekend, and Labor Day weekend at the Tire Rack.
Grissom Aeroplex is mostly used by the "Indiana Region of NCCC" at: http://www.indianaregion.com/
They ran there about 4 weekends this past year.
Next years schedules are not made up yet. You will need to check those websites sometime in March or so for the schedule of events for the year.
Better Yet! check the clubs in the Indiana Region and find one close to your home and check it out to see what it's all about! Some of them are more "Social" oreinted and some are more "Autocross" oreinted.

Just going through the 'board' tonight and saw this thread. If you guys are looking for events this month, the last weekend has events at Grissom. Check the Indiana Region (NCCC) site for details. I think it is a Sunday only deal.
