MOST people prefer to use this section to find out about Great Lakes area events.

Unfortunately, some choose to use it as their personal venting area too.

I sense your 41% will be going down very shortly with all your smart-arsed posts in this section..

Why dont you pick up a phone and settle it rather than dragging this section into it.

Do you have a 350Z? My brother is debating on getting a 350Z or a C5 vette....I know what everyone will say to get since this is a corvette forum, but was just curious.

Don's sig is a pic of possible the new C6 not the 350Z.

It may sign up under an alias, but the stench of a troll is easy to find.

He's bent out of shape because we fixed the problems he brought his car in for. After he drove his car home he started messing with the timing and pulled the distributor and now his car won't run. So, he's pissed that his car doesn't run and he's implied it is our fault, go figure.

Now he has resorted to making racial comments. Well, he was kind of polite when he made them.

Here is an e-mail from him:

Just got through looking at http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=405077 and it appears you have the good ole boys on your side (Big Law Man, Patrick96Lt4, MattG, TeamL98, etc) all on your side about this issue with me setting the timing on my car....do you honestly think that I drove my car all the way home, let it sit in the garage for 2 days, go set the timing and I purposely mess it or, or indirectly mess it up just to bring it back to your shop????

Don't flatter yourself.

I hope you and Brian are real proud of your self...being con artist and all, Mr. Marquez! You better kiss Brians butt real well or you could find your self outta a job and out of their little click....with that last name of yours Mr. Marquez dont get to ethnic with them "esse."

By the way Karl, I don't think you purposely messed the timing up. I do think you tried and made a mistake by pulling the distributor. Like I told you last weekend, you can bring the car in and we will get it running for you again.

Hey TeamL98, where in Plainfield do you live? Maybe you should swing by the shop for lunch sometime, we'll get Big Law Man to come on out too.

By the way, your zip code in your profile is for Chicago, isn't it? Probably just a mistake. Catch ya later. :D

Dang guys...

Well, at least it looks like things have calmed down on this one now.

When you have a shop, you are always a target for people that know "better" than you do...Tim's always been a level headed guy on this board...so they get my vote.

Thanks MinnesotaWhite! I tried to address his issues off the forum since Friday but, he doesn't want to work with us on anything. I guess he liked bashing us a little more then resolving his minor issues. Not much else I can do about it.

WOW! Looks like I got caught in the middle of something big here!!!

I stay off Labrecque Drive....been living out here only for a couple of years and have owned my corvette for about 2 months.....as a matter of fact I have my vette outside on the driveway now so cruise the block and you'll see it.
