Driving your Vette, Supercar or other bad azz car in November Part XXXXXXV
Yep, it's that time of the year again and I hope I was not the only one who took advantage of this incredible weather today on Friday after Thanksgiving, November 24th. Took my Snakeskin Green Viper Machine and blasted out to Marengo Guns where they had huge sales going on for Black Friday. Surprisingly, I used good restraint and did not buy anything but man was I tempted.
Really enjoyed the 90 miles or so I put on my 2010 Viper and looking forward to more great driving weather this Saturday and Sunday.
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend and enjoy your go fast fun toys before the snow and salt hit the roads!

I drove the Corvette over the river and thru the woods to grandmothers house yesterday for Thanksgiving. This is the first time I drove the Corvette in two weeks when I had the oil changed. I almost put the winter storage insurance on the Corvette today but changed my mind because it was so nice out today

Here in Cleveland we've had three days in the past week that temps were above 50 F, sunshine, and clean dry roads. When that happens anytime during the 'cold' season, out come the toys. Expecting good weather here next week as well.

Did the annual trip to the "Rock", the site of the first automobile race in America (1895) with a few friends. Met for breakfast, cruised down to the Rock then drove up Lake Shore Drive to the north shore burbs. Logged about 77 miles. There were about 35 + cars there.
Mg Club had about 10 cars
The Republic Bronze Sculpture in Jackson Park

Fantastic Punz and great pics.
I took advantage of this great November weather and logged on over 100 miles on the Viper again today (on this beautiful Saturday November 25th).

Third day in a row out this weekend in the Viper easily logged in 200 miles. Today, ended up at the Lodge at Medinah Country Club and shot 4 rounds of skeet, my skeet shooting game is definitely improving!

Hey Jim I am glad you started the thread it got me motivated again. I have not been driving my 1990 Corvette much lately since the cruise nights have ended and I went back to work full time in September. I hope you and your family are doing well. Things are going pretty good for me

I haven't been able to get a drivers seat since Oct 4th, and cant get into a passenger seat either.
I'm hoping to be able to get in any of my cars in another 6 weeks.
All of the work I had scheduled for myself over this winter is now on hold until next winter
I did hobble into the shop yesterday and looked at it. Does that count?
FARK!!!!!
