Summer Tire Storage
I will be storing my Corvette in a self storage unit, and living in Chicago the temps get well below freezing. I know summer tires can crack if driven under 40F weather. But if the car is sitting in storage over the winter not driven, do I still run the risk of the tires cracking? Car has Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

I always park on carpet squares just to keep the tires off the cement.

My garage is heated, but I still put carpet squares under the tires to keep them off the concrete.
