Default Changing to Aftermarket Wheels in Toledo

In a few weeks looking to put on some aftermarket wheels on my C8. Has anyone in the Toledo area changed to aftermarket wheels on your C8. If so where did you go to have the wheels put on. Trying to find a place that will do a god job.

Thanks

Other members who have changed wheels seem to like Discount Tire - if you have one near you it might be worth checking them out.

Thanks for the reply. I do have one and I have saw many members say good things about them. Check a few places here Corvette Shop and another tire shop and they both want around $ 180.00 . I thought that was a bit much

I had good luck at the tireman in maumee. NOT the one in perrysburg. Mounted 4 c5z and 2 bmw i3 tires for 25$ each.

Very impressed because they balance the high part of the tire to the low part of the rim. One of the wheels didn’t need any weight at all.

edit: 25 to mount c5 tires on new wheels. 30 to dismount/remount the i3 tires already on car with 10$ disposal fee. Fair price and more importantly seem to know what they are doing.

Thanks I ended up using Discount Tires on Monroe Street a few weeks ago.
they did a good job with no scratches on the rims. Car is now up for the winter so we will see if there is any problems in the spring.

If you hear of any good Corvette shows in the Toledo or surrounding area this spring would you post them, don’t seem to be much around this area except the one at Yark. Use to go to Corvette Expo in Knoxville all the time. Thanks

Thanks can't we until the spring to really drive it.
sounds like your problem will be which one to drive.
But that is a great problem to have.
