Additional Great Lakes Corvette Challenge dates!
I'm happy to announce the dates for the 2003 season of the Great Lakes Corvette Challenge.
They are:
April 20th - Byron Dragway
May 4th - Byron Dragway
June 8th - Union Grove
July 13th - Byron Dragway
Aug 3rd - Byron Dragway
Sept 14th - Byron Dragway
There will also be a date in October, details have not been worked out yet. Registration info will soon be available on out website.

Ron Leek (owner of Byron) and I have been talking alot lately, all the dates were confirmed by him. I wonder if that date will be a problem, you're the first to mention that it's Easter.

I'll be at all of them except Easter Sunday.
Even NASCAR dosen't race on Easter (and Mother's Day).
GOOD JOB on the schedule though.

I'm waiting for a call back from Byron, the Easter date is one of many things I will discuss with the owner. If we push the date back, then I have to push the May date back or I could make the April date Sat the 19th :banghead: . I'll keep everyone informed.

Right now I'm leaning towards changing the April 20th date to April 19th and making it a non-points event. I think it may be a good idea to have a non-points event to give the organizers a chance to work out any kinks in the system before we start the points race. We don't want to make any mistakes that could cost someone points.
