Some random Friday night car show pic’s. A much smaller show theses days. Not like the good old days at Downers. Had too wait my turn to take this one….
Yeah the new much smaller Friday night Downer's Grove show is an excellent smaller show with A LOT of people walking through to admire the cars. Waa a great night there tonight for sure.
This is a great little cruise night that gets lots of families and pedestrians coming out to admire the cars (gests close to 125 cars on a crowed night). Tonight was a very nice turnout on this picture perfect summer evening headed into the 4th of July Holiday. Sarge (Vettesmith 2002 (sp?) where you at my friend?

Great seeing you as always Sarge aka Don this past week at Downers and Lemont. its great to know you are Vettesmith2002 on here my friend. I am at the BIG downtown Sandwich IL car show as I type this Saturday afternoon in the Shelby GT500, my rain car, I mean it is just a Ford after all. Lollol. Have a great Holiday weekend my friend.
Quicksilver Bob thanks for the nice picture of my new to me 1968 Charger RT as it appeared at the Downers Grove cruise night last night. . It won its first trophy at Downers Grove yesterday for best car in its class (1960 to 1979 cars) that is always a nice little perk
For anyone here looking for the only car show in suburbs on the 4th of July, there is a nice show in Sleepy Hollow at Sabatino Park near St. Charles IL (see Donspeeno.com). I plan on being there stop by and say hi if anyone is there whether I am on the computer or reading my prayer book. I hope everyone has a great, safe and blessed 4th of July Holiday weekend.
