Bud's Chevy Corvette show
Around here, if you want to get into the car show, be there 45 minutes before it starts or park on the outside. Figured a big show like this get there an hour early. We were the second car there - in the rain. Parked next to Bill. from Detroit, 80/85 years old, with a new Z06. Super nice guy. He buys his Corvettes from Bud's because they treat him well. Said he won't even let the local dealerships change his oil. That/s him between our cars. The C4 next mt me is an '88 with 95/95 body work. 4+3 trans with a carb'd and built small block under the hood. Guy had done a lot of home built tweaks done. It was the perfect weekend tinker car. Envied him a bit.

Ohio State patrol car. Apparently in Ohio on your 3rd OWI they take your car. Someone had a very bad day. At the beginning of the show they hoisted a giant American flag and played the national anthem. The State Trooper escorted the flag to the pole with show attendees carrying the flag behind. It was a great sight to see.

One of 300. Looked meticulously restored to me. Very nice car.

Super clean '84. Consignment car. Talked to the owner of the last 27 years a bit. Said he barely ever drove it. They had $10,000 on it. 54k miles IIRC

Sincerely admired this guy
