Default Open Car Trailer?

I'm about to the point where I should consider some kind of car hauler. Anyone know of a good deal on an open trailer that'll haul a C5 in the Great Lakes area?
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
I don't know exactly what you're looking for. I have about $2200 in mine. I have seen them a little cheaper a couple places. here's a pic This place is about 1/2 hour northwest of Dayton,Oh

Guppie,
Thanks, that's what I am thinking about. A bit cheaper would be good also, but if I have to drive too far that would add to the overall cost. Near Dayton would work fine, where is the trailer "store" located?

Get something to protect the front of the car. My 90 got beat to hell when I trailered it to Ohio.

Jason,
Thanks, yes , I,ve heard that some kind of a sheild is a good idea.
I,ve found a place in Knoxville that has some wood floor trailers for just over $1000.00, but no protection for the front of the car.

I bought a Featherlite 3110, open car hauler at Rock's. It is an excellent trailer. Rock's doesnt directly sell Featherlite's but he can get them. There is a place in Jamestown, that sells Featherlites and it reasonable. My was ~$3800. The trailer is all alumimun, except the axles and wheels. The bed of the trailer is 18 feet long and I think 80 inches wide.

Icemanto,
I did a search on Google for "trailer Lewisport KY" with no luck. Do you have a name or number for your manufacturer?
Thanks,
Mike

I have a 01 18' Aluminum Texas Rollback with a Nosepiece, removable fenders, and electric brakes that I am planning to sell for $3900 cash, in 1 month (Paid $4995 + $400 for nosepiece) low miles. I am going to a tricked out enclosed trailer.

That sounds like a great deal. I'm going to drop the plans for a trailer for this year. A couple of real recent unexpected expenses make it better to plan on next year, so I appologize for not being able to take you up on that deal.
