And if so, how many of you drive your Corvettes all year long, even in winter?
I'm just curious if I've seen any you guys driving in the Toronto area recently.
I hoping to get a C5 within the next three years, and when I get it, I will be driving it 365 days a year, even in the snow (that's what snow tires are for!) If the guy from Michigan with 330k on his car can drive it all year long, so can I! :)
edit-I just noticed I now have 346 posts, just as many posts as the LS1 has cubic inches!
:hurray:
Re: Does anyone from Ontario read this section? (tlaselva)
I used to drive my car pretty much through the winter when I first got it and didnt really have another car to drive. Now that I have a company vehicle, the vette sleeps most of the winter. I will take it out on the odd nice day we have where the roads aren't that salty. I sure can't wait for spring to get here!!!
I am new to the GTA area. I moved from Chatham a few months back. Are there any cool get-togethers in this area??

The z06 will NOT drive in the winter. DON'T DRIVE it!! You'll be sorry.
It's my summer car ONLY.
Cheers!
Yup.
The F1's are bad enough in wet weather.
Even on cold pavement, let alone snow, it's suicide.
I won't take the Z out on weather colder than 0C. :nonod:
When I get one I wouldn't even consider driving in the snow without the proper tires. I'll definitely be buying snow tires. My Firebird is currently running with Pirelli Winter 210s, and I'd probably get the same for the C5.
Re: Does anyone from Ontario read this section? (Patman)
I get mine out as often as possible, as long as there is no snow / no salt. It's nice to WANT heat around your feet when driving.
Of course down here in the banana belt, we don't actually get a heck of a lot of snow...
