Rick-
Just thought I'd add that if they (the employee's that are going on strike) are union, I sure as hell would not cross that line, and I would also hope that everybody else in their right minds would do the same.

Rick, if it couldn't be considered slander or libel, it would be good for folks to know what other dealerships the ownership from "Ogden" owns

I just know that if I were buying a Lincoln or Mercury in tha area or was interested in Lambo or Lotus in DuPage county I might wanna look at the management.

Great thinking stillcrazee. I feel bad for leaving a great clientel, but this guy is koo koo. . Look at what he is doing to those guys. I feel bad for them, and most of them have been there over 15 years some 23 years. They don't want to start at a new dealer.
If anyone but this guy owned it I would be back in a heartbeat. later

I agree whole heartedly Jason... I miss the people and the dealership.. but I don't miss the way things were being ran over there... And the lack of respect shown to his employees..

Jason, as soon as I get a day off during the week.. I wanna cruise out to IN and take you and Tony out for lunch.

I feel bad for people like Randyvettes that have there cars tied up there while this is going on..

I also feel bad for the remaining techs that are on strike. And the fact that Joey Isuzu is looking to replace them with 1 year or less experiance techs. These people were a very loyal group of employees.
And he wants to replace them with anyone he can wether they are experianced or not.. total

Jim, I hope this helps...

But here is my opinion.. If I was purchasing a vehicle..

I would pass on any of the following dealers..

Ogden Chevy
Ogden Lincoln Mercury
North Shore Ford
Lamborgini of Chicago
Or
Fox Valley Motorcars

This is strictly my opinion...

Monday night someone left 4 new Vettes on blocks and took 16 wheel/tire sets off of new cars. That's gotta hurt expenses...

Was this after hours? because they pull the vettes in at night..

Oh wait.. new ones stayed outside.. it was all the used ones...

won't be the first time someone had stolen a set of rims.. when I was there someone had stolen rims off a firehawk.. we had a vette stolen off the lot, but it was recovered.. no damage..
