They probably knew you were a C5 owner and didn't want to waste their time with you knowing you are driving the BEST Corvette ever. Most of them with their old suspensions, 8mpg, and inferiority complex don't understand that all of us C5 owners want to carry on the tradition. Oh well I know I am glad to be a part of this forum.
Come on guys, I'm sure they can't be all bad. My own experience with the NCRS people has been very good. They were a very major help while I was restoring my 75. I'm sure what you may have experienced is just a few bad apples in a basket full of good ones. I would be quite certain their interests are more in the older cars then the new ones, but that's no excuse to be rude, especially if you were there because of your interest in the older cars as well.

Hey Big Fish, Yes, I like my C5 better than any year thus far but I do enjoy looking at the 50s and early 60s models.
But what gets me is when you tell someone how you were treated people come up with excuses.
I was not the only one who found this to be true but I seem to be the only one reporting it on this forum!
I dont deny that they helped you and some or most are good.
But dont deny what I say when you were not there to see.

Okay Harley, I'm not denying you were not treated in a nice manner, and I'm not trying to start a squabble here. I just remember some of their guys like Joe Lucia who is nothing but a walking encyclopedia of Corvette part numbers, I swear the guy has most of them memorized. A few others I've had the pleasure of talking to probably have forgot more about Corvettes then most people will ever know. I guess I just try to find the good points in people way more often then then bad, and surely everyone has some bad points. Sorry if I offended you.
