Default Hell Cruise Map

Well, it seems that some of you CORVETTE owners have a difficult time keeping up with the CORVETTE in front of you, so for this year's CORVETTE cruise to Hell, I'm providing a map just in case you and your CORVETTE can't keep up with the CORVETTE in front of you.

This is a pretty big file ~1Mb. I did a photo-merge of several small maps in order to get the detail, so some of it is a little fuzzy. The key points are there though.

The route has a minimal number of stoplights and left turns, so we should be able to stay togethr pretty well.

Note: From Haggerty & 6 mile to N. Territorial & 23 you're on your own! Follow Scooter70 or make up your own way to get there. I do not recommend following the guys who nearly drove to Flint & back along this route last year!

wow, very cool job, and viewed at 100%, this map makes sense! How about cell phone numbers and a two-way! Once I get my but to Deweys and end up at Bakers I'm good!

How long (approx. time) is this cruise? And about what time to you think we'll be at Bakers?

Cindy

I'm guessing it'll take about 1 1/2-2 hours when it's all said and done.

I was going to bring my Motorola FRS radio so if people want to bring them we can stay in contact (and watch out for Smokey).

Great. Now I have to re-do the map with a detour in it!

Are we really only going to have 5 cars? Because that's about all that have responded.... So far I haven't heard from anybody about meeting up at my meeting spot.

I hope we have more! If not, they're all missing out on a good cruise!

If you're coming, let me know so I can give Bakers a # on how many we're going to have!!

Dave: I'm really having a hard time reading your map and identifying the road names because the red line you drew on the map covers the name of the road.

I actually printed the map out on 11x17 paper and I still couldn't read the names of any of the roads, and I have 20/20 vision. So what I did, is I went into the PDF file and blew up the file to 150%, just so I could write the names of the road myself in bigger print on my 11x17 map, and as I indicated, some of the roads I can't identify because the red line/arrows covers the names of the roads up. I am not familiar whatsoever with this part of town, and I really need to know the names of the roads.

Last year, I was lost big time, the cruise was a bust for me, and I don't want to get lost again this year because I can't identify roads on the map.....HELP!

Hey Suzanne!
That red line is actually on the road, so it should be easy to follow

Ok, here goes:
To Hell....
From N. territorial & 23, follow N. Territorial West to M52 (~16 miles)
Turn right on M52 (~5 miles)
Turn right on Hinkley
This will take you into Stockbridge.
In downtown Stockbridge at the crossroads, go East on M106
Follow M106 for about 4 miles to Williamsville road
Turn right on Williamsville.
This will take you into the grand metropolis of Unadilla. Watch your speed in Unadilla (seriously!)
At the stop in Unadilla, make a right, then a left, then a right to follow the road south out of "town". (Just turn right and don't go down the road that says "no outlet" and you're fine. those are the only 2 paved roads there)
You are now on Hadley road. Next Stop: N. Territorial
Turn left on N. Territorial (if we had enough people you'd be waving at the back of the LONG line of Corvettes)
Follow N. Territorial for about 1.5 miles
Make another left turn onto Hankerd Road
Hankerd ends at Patterson Lake
Turn Right on Patterson Lake and follow it into Hell :

From Hell...
Follow Patterson Lake to Dexter Pinckney (stop sign)
Left on Dexter-Pinckney to stop light (~1 mile)
Right on M36 at stop light
Follow M36 for about 3 miles
Turn Left on Pettysville
At the intersection, turn right onto Swarthout which turns into Chilson/Winans Lake Road
After you pass the lake on your left, go another 1/4 mile and follow Winans Lake Road East for about 2 miles
Turn left onto Hamburg Road
Follow Hamburg road into Brighton (more or less)
Once you get into the dense residential area, the first real street on the left is Third STreet
Left on Third to the 'roundabout' at Main street
Clockwise around the roundabout in an orderly fashion and make what amounts to a left turn onto Main street.

About 2 miles down you'll come to Bauer Road (Maltby Middle School is on the NW corner).
Turn right onto Bauer, follow it PAST Mt. Brighton, go up the hill and make the sharp left turn.

About 2 miles down take Dorr road to the Right.

Dorr will end at Grand River. Turn Right onto Grand River
About 2 miles down, just past the hospital on the left, turn left onto Bendix
Bendix is real short and is just a bypass to get to Hacker.
Turn Left on hacker & follow for about 1 mile
At the top of the hill by the church, turn right onto Hyne.
Follow Hyne east until it ends at Pleasant Valley Road
That fence in front of you is the West fence of the GM Proving Ground.
Head right/south onto Pleasant Valley. Notice the test track to your left? It's perfectly straight and flat and 4.5 miles long end to end
At the stop, turn Left onto Stobart
Follow Stobart as it curves to the left and becomes Hickory Ridge
At the stoplight/Proving Ground Entrance, turn right onto GM road
At the next stop by McDonalds, turn right onto Milford Road.
Bakers is directly across from the Dairy Queen.
