Lapeer Drags
Great weather for some 1/4 mile action!! Met up with couple of local, young gangstas, George8211 and Zack. George ate up a young dude with a C5-M6. Perfect weather for flogging our vettes!! Hope for a few more weekends of good runs without a snowplow on the front of the C5!!

60' still sucks - got to get under 2.0
BFG'S are helpful but only if you heat them up
Had one monster burnout - couldn't see out either side window.
George's car is a red coupe as well and some old dude that he was the one who "lit them up" and thought it looked awesome -- was great fun.

It was good to get some runs in. I met up with Zack on the way up to Lapeer. Registered, checked out the Vette and did some runs. My times were quite consistant. I had enough 13.1x to feel that I am able to say... I run 13.1's. My 60's were not good, 2.1-2.2 on Pilot Sport PS2. Track got worse as the day went on.
Several break downs and some oil on the track held us up for a while. Lot's of money racers there. More people there in general, I think some are out to run in the cold weather for personal best times. And to get out and have some fun before the season ends.
I plan to go out several more times before the tracks close. After that I will have to drive down south when I need a fix of 1/4 mile black top.

Saturday looks to be a wash - but George, I think, we are to meet at your place on the 16th? - Sunday should be cool, cloudy but hopefully no rain for another run to Lapeer. Mark, are you out there?

Yes on the 16th (Noise, Heat reduction Mod).... I've kinda made plans for the rest of the weekend after doing the mods... This weekend is Sweetest Day.

I'm not sure who the "we" will be. I be we. You be we? It will be Sunday unless the rain stays for another day. Will be chilly however but that is OK. I try to get there around 10:30.
