Hey Jeff - Do some checking and you might be able to handle this yourself. Here in Indiana you can do "Infraction Deferral", call the prosecutor or the clerk of the court and see if there is a similar program in the county where you received the ticket. In a nutshell, you still pay a fine and a processing fee, however, after 6 months with no additional moving violations, the ticket is dismissed. The huge plus is that no points appear on your license.
I'm retired from the ticket writing line of work now, but let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Picked up a ticket today on Far Hills (right where it changes from 45 to 35mph) right after Rahn Road.
yep; I know that exact spot myself. Good luck on your effort to get around the ticket. The f***ing police in Kettering are notorious for writing speeding tickets... for the smallest of infractions.

Kettering is almost as bad as Oakwood
Don't have any recommendations. How much over were you going?
Hey, I live in Kettering and drive through Oakwood all the time. Never been stopped - of course, I'm at the speed limit in those places because they do love to write tickets.
Absolute suckage. I was speeding no question (just got out of the 45 zone) however I was WITH traffic. The stickered Celica was in the right lane passing me and guess who was pulled over?
I knew I should have stayed with black or silver...
I was kind and respectful, had all the paperwork. Oh well.
