Don't Forget Them!!!
An older gentleman stopped and looked at the vette (mine's red and he said they only come in red!) today and he held my ear for awhile. He had spent many years working at Cadillac engineering. The '59 Cadillac is the one with the big tail fins with the dual "rocket" tailights on each fin. He designed the tailights!! He was transferred to Corvette design and did the design work on the '84 dashboard. We talked for quite sometime and he mentioned many times how he liked the vette. It was an honor and great pleasure to listen to his stories and to know he was still a car nut!! A rich benefit of living in the Detroit area where chance encounters with true car guys often happens.
