My calipers are drying as we speak they'll be red! and My wheels should ship out tomarrow!

So if you see my car, it's admiral blue, should have black Z06 (similar to the motorsport wheels) on it.

I'm hoping the weather is ok on the 19th and that I get to trailer it down there.. which is the plan! I'm anxious!

I was reading through the rules.. I have to have max 1/8 of a tank of gas. And either a locking gas cap or tape the cap? which I suppose would be a good idea. Also will have to disconnect the battery, which is good too..

I guess I'm going to pick up a locking gas cap tomarrow.

I'm excited as all He||! just over a week away!

BTW If anyone has any suggestions for anything with this show let me know. This is the first time we are going to have a car there. Thanks again!

Just everything CORVETTE! and chevy

There are alot of show cars and cars for sale. There are usually a chevy dealer or 2 there as well. Lot's of vendors for parts and just about anything corvette. It's a fun event. I've only been to it I think 2 or 3 times.

I'm just entering my car for fun it's not 100% mint or anything. i just feel like showing off all my work. Espcially since my car has about 58K on it now.

Look forward to meeting you guys (and gals, I hope!) at the VetteFest. My car will be in the Showcase Display-Chip's Choice Reunion. It's being shipped to Chicago next Tuesday and I'll be flying in on Thursday.

Driving up from SC to attend this show this year! Looking forward to meeting some great Forum members from your area! Could use some suggestions for a couple of good local favorite restaurants, too

Look for my license plate "ERND IT" - not sure where they're going to be parking me...

Took a quick break from detailing it. I have a little more to do on the interior, I need to clean the half shafts, and rear suspension up a bit. I painted the front calipers and Theresa is working on the rear right now.

I will call about my wheels tomarrow, I am hoping they did ship out on friday, if so I will have a good chance at getting them in time. They should be mounted balanced and ready to bolt on. I'm getting anxious.

We'll I gotta get back to working on it.

Just curious, what has been not that great? I've only been there a few times.. and maybe it was better before.

I'm just wondering what I may have missed out on.

Anyway will be putting on the final touches on the car tomarrow and then trailering it down there..

Pesonally, I have always enjoyed attending the show, but would like to see more used parts. Seems like there were some pretty good deals, the best deals get taken right away, and then the stuff that's left is mostly junk. Speaking of busts, the Hooter's girls were a pleasant site last spring!

Rick,

Good Luck at the Show!!!!

I won a Gold Spinner Concourse award with my ZR-1 in 2002……so believe me, I know how HARD you are working to get your car prepared for the judges!!!!!

Don’t forget to drop and clean the spare tire and jack and keep your windows rolled down!!!!!!

I will be by to inspect on Saturday!!!!
