I'm looking into buying a house in Romeoville. Specifically in the Haley Meadows sub-division. How are the neighborhoods there?

 

What streets is the sibdivsion located.I can telll you if it's in the new part of Romeoville you should be fine,the old section is a lil shady.But Bolingbrook is the same way and I've lived here for 34 years.

 

This would be right off Normantown, between Weber and Joliet Rd. I think the sub-division was build around 1998 or so.
I put an offer on a house there, but If I don't hear from them tomorrow it probably won't happen.

 

That a good area, we are putting a club there ( health club)

 

Haley Meadows is very nice. I own the Rosati's Pizza in front of the Dominicks at 135th & Weber in Romeoville. I'd be cautious about "old Romeoville" as Slammed Vette said.

Why Romeoville? Just curious.

 

well, my parents have a house in Lemont - too expensive for me. My girlfriend has a house in Lockport - Not too bad. I work downtown chicago, and wanted something that's a little closer to I55. Also, Romeoville seems to have half way decent prices on houses still. I was looking in Plainfield, but that was a little too far.

The traffic heading up I-55 in the morning is a big PITA.

 

That area isn't bad.Neighbors are a joke.My buddy lives in Hinsdale9$600000 house and has pigs living next to him.So it doesn't matter where you go.Wait til you hit Weber and Normantown during morning rush hour!!!! What a joke!!!!!If it's the same subdivision I think it is a guy I work with lives there.
