msg to admins, board problem
something appears to be wrong with the boards. when i select the "Active" drop down on the top menu bar and select "My Recent Topics" it doesn't pop up posts i've made in the last 3 or 4 days, only everything before that. it doesn't have anything to do with my computer because i've tried it on a few different machines with the same results.

Go back and subscribe to the threads you post in without email notification. Then when you want to check on your latest threads and what everyone else is saying... simply click on User CP at the top of the tool bar to see your recent topics. TO see a list of all simply click on the View All Subscribed Threads link on the CP page. This is very fast and works everytime.

Just confirming that I have the same problem. Under "Active | My recent topics", my latest posts don't show but a couple of older ones do. When I search for all posts by my user name, older posts show up but not ones I've made in the past few days.
I hope we get this fixed soon! I am adicted to the "My Recent Topics" feature!

Threads get locked (or sometimes moved) mainly for one of two reasons: 1) they do not comply with with the Forum Guidelines and Rules or 2) they have been posted in the wrong forum based on the topic of discussion. The Forums Index lists all the forums here and shows the topics that are appropriate for discussion and posting in each of the forums. An easy way to find the Forum Index is to click on the red C5 convertible at the very top left of this page. Hope this helps!

However, the problem is that the forum search engine is broken! The Search function seems to be returning old information only (My Recent Topics is really just a specialized search). (Maybe an index on the database is corrupt; or perhaps a table/index out of disk space??)
Do the folks who run the board know that we're having a problem here? I would think that someone would take the time to respond to this thread to acknowledge that a problem exists. In the past, when there have been problems, one of the admins has posted a note about it.
