I want to use a custom avatar, a picture of my car by its 140 kb. How can i do this?

Resize the pic using a program such as Photoshop, Color It, or perhaps the software that came with your digital camera. I use a Mac, so if you have a Mac you can use iPhoto to resize and save as .jpg file.

You resize and save as #2 and then you'll have the original and one to use as your avatar. But do use the help section it's great for the newbie's and Welcome to the greatest forum on the net.
