Gettin' Screwy Error Messages
Also getting "The Administrator has 'whatever' you cannot post more than once in 20 seconds", well, DUH, I haven't tried to post more than once in 20 seconds, so why is the Forum telling me that???
If anyone knows my history, it takes me a lot longer than 20 seconds to type up a post, I tend to be long-winded.
Anyone else having the same problems? Mine started a few days ago right about the same time that the other ERROR msg would appear when I, and many othjer folks, tried to post. I was told that was taken care of and I haven't had any more of THOSE msgs, but now I'm getting two different kinds.

Thanks.
Thanks.
This happens when, for example, I click on the link that accompanies an email response to a thread I've posted to. Step by step: I see the email response in my email "in box", click on it and read it. I then decide to either view the entire thread or respond to that email, so I click on the link which should take me directly to that thread on the Forum. I get the "This Page Cannot Be Displayed . . ."
I then use my saved Forum Bookmark to login, but, again occasionally, I get the "This Page Cannot Be Displayed . . ." screen. I continue to try and eventually am able to reach the Forum and login. I must then manually scroll down to find the actual thread I want to view/respond to in the first place.
Thinking it may be a problem with MY computer, I try going to other websites, yet I have no problem accessing them.
Occasionally, while logged-in to the Forum, I've gotten the "This Page Cannot . . ." screen after typing a response to a post and clicking on the "Submit Reply" button. I then use the back arrow to return to the response I'd typed. I click on the "Submit Reply" button again but this time I get the "Duplicate Response" message which has a "Proceed" button at the bottom. I then get redirected to the C4 Tech/Performance board and when I check to see if my response posted, I find that it HAS.
Yesterday, for the first time, I received the "Administrator . . . 20 seconds . . ." error screen. In that instance, I had typed a response and clicked on "Submit Reply" than instantly got the screen telling me "The Administrator has . . . 20 seconds . . ." I had not submitted any other post within minutes, much less within 20 seconds, nor had I inadvertently clicked on the "Submit" button more than once.
Hope this explains it better.
Jake
