(old) forum look on startup correct?

(old) forum look on startup correct?
Ever since the forum went to the new look, (what, a year ago?) I have still gotten the old home page when I first enter the site. As soon as I go to any forum or thread, I get the new look, with the new menu's.
Is this normal? I've finally got the time to start sorting other year-plus-old issues with my computer and I don't know if this is something that I can fix, or if it's just the normal way things are supposed to be.
