Paid Subscriptions?
Hello,
I was messing around with my settings, and noticed that I can purchase optional Paid Subscriptions, and am considering doing so. Is there a FAQ somewhere about them? I am trying to understand the difference between Supporting vs. Gold. Also, I would like to understand the funding behind Corvette Forum. It's (obviously) funded by ads, at least partially. So what is the purpose/need/advantage/whatever of the Paid Subscriptions?

I will see if I can find the original post regarding what the membership levels are in more detail, but I will give it a start.
There are one year (two star) and lifetime memberships (4 star).
There are silver (limited extra features) and gold memberships.
With Silver, you get more PM inbox messages and ability to upload thumbnails to posts directly from your hard drive and not have to host them.
With Gold, you get even more inbox space, can upload, and you are invited to the Steering Committee section of the forum.
All monies collected are for the operation, maintenance, and further enhancement of the forum beyond what is collected by supporting vendors.
