Default new member procedure?

My friend has tried to become a CF member with no success. He asked me for help, but I am unable to direct him to the proper procedures/link to join CF to enter his user name, password, etc. Any advice on how I can help him join CF would be appreciated. Can't imagine both of us are is so dumb we can't figure out how he should join CF. :o

First, you have to be LOGGED OFF. Then go to the forum and you'll find a register tab at the top. The rest is just to follow the steps provided.

I went to registration and followed instructions, "Registration for Corvetteforum is free and easy. Just click here to go to our registration page. After filling out the form you will be emailed a password.'
When I clicked on word "here" to go to registration page, I got a page that said incorrect, or not available, or unable to find or whatever but the link IS NOT WORKING for me or my friend. Maybe link to registration page is broken??

Try this direct link to the registration page (copy paste into browser): http://forums.corvetteforum.com/register.php? after you logout.

I was able to get to it using your steps. It leads to a page where it asks for your DOB first.

See if we can get past that.

If that doesn't work, then if you are using IE, go to Tools/Internet Options/Delete Files and try again.

I'll see how that works....

Thanks, I forwarded your instructions to my friend to try. I just tried it and it worked. If he has any more problems, I'll post again. Bill
