With your Gold Member status, you have the ability now to change the text under your username, "Junior Member", to anything that will fit.
Go to User CP
User Profile
Change User Title
Now, are you talking about the little starts signifying your post count status or your 4 starts signifying your Gold Membership status? I am not sure about dropping them and will have to forward that to the admins as soon as I get clarification and confirmation you want me to ask.

So I found out how I was able to do it...
Doesn't look good for changing either of them...I will let you know if I hear that it is possible to eliminate the stars for an individual.
