How do I find a "moved" thread?
It would be nice if the icon said "moved to..."

Typically a moderator will "move and leave forwarding link" such as a couple I have moved here in the Help Section.
But it is possible to move one without it. In this case the moderator may have thought is was "obvious" to them where it should have been (like to Off Topic).
Lastly, if the thread is inappropriate or needs moderator review, it might be moved to the Boneyard Section and not available for viewing.
So I cannot speak specifically regarding the thread you are talking about without more info.
