Default Homepage problems

Fellas -- I keep trying to delete a bunch of stuff off of my CF Homepage, and I also keep trying to upload new pics.

It seems like it works at the time, then later I log back in, and all the files I deleted are back, and I can't find any of the pics I uploaded.

I've never had problems with my homepage in the past.......any reason this hasn't worked at all over the past month?

TIA

Ryan / Noggles

No reports to me of problems. I will pose this in the mod corner to see if anyone else has had reported problems.

I had a couple say their counters on their web pages were not working any more, but that has been all that has been reported. No feedback from Mod Corner with any other ideas or knowledge of problems.

Damn, please keep me posted. This is not a good thing.

Can someone "reset" or blow out my webpage so I can start from scratch? I'd be OK with that.

I will ttt the mod corner with this to see if anyone there is "in charge" of that anymore. Those web pages have seemed to have gone into limbo...

Any updates?

It's hard to beleive no one is working home pages on a Forum this large, especially with a supporting member program that advertises webhosting privelages.......

To my knowledge, detailed support of the old forum homepages ended several years ago. I inherited some administrative functions from RichF when he handed help over to me. Primarily those functions include looking up old usernames and passwords. I have looked thru the old system and found no way to "blow out" ones home page. I have found no way to get to an individual's home page. I "might" have the ability to delete an account though, but figured I didn't want to try that feature out.

When Troy decided to quit offering them, and the rest of us were able to be "grandfathered" in, it is my guess that support for that also pretty much went away.

The Supporting Member program allows web hosting priveleges in the form of the photo gallery. Each member has that capability, the program just gives you more space.

While I will repost this in the mod corner again, you may need to resort to PMing Troy to find out his intentions with the old forum home pages.

I'm not having a problem. I was able to upload and delete files.

I do have a problem with certain type files.

My biggest prroblem is with attachments. My pics are usually too large. Also try uploading or deleting one file at a time.

Well, I am not having any more problems. I can delete old files, and upload new ones. I even logged out and logged back in, and had no files return or vanish. If you or any of the admin did something: Thank you!

If not... nevermind about my earlier problem.

Wish I could take credit, give credit, or tell you what the issue was.

But it must have just been the magic of computers...

But glad it's working for you now
