Default Corvette Forum username change....

Hello, I have been a CF member in good standing since April, 2002 and have 1827 posts. I would like to change my username from FXT to my real first initial and last name which is... PTighe.

If this can be done, I would like to keep my # of posts as well. I have my password if you need it. Thanks for your consideration. PTighe

Hi, Rich - I'm posting this for Pat Tighe, as he can't get into the Forum to respond to you - here's his message:

"98Pace97Coupe, I did get my username changed from FXT to PTighe, but now I've gone from a Senior Member with 1827 Posts to a Junior Member with 0 Posts. I believe you mentioned that only my username would change, not my # of posts.

Also the server is requiring me to sign in, and I can't sign in, it keeps getting rejected for some reason. I did give you my current email address which is ptighe1@earthlink.net maybe the administrator didn't notice that it is a new email address from the last time I registered. Further, it said the administrator may require me to register again, so I tried that under the username Tighe, just to be able to get in here, but it also was rejected. Am I doing something wrong here?

All I want is to have is the username PTighe under the above email adddress, with Senior Member and 1827 posts listed. If I need a new password to log in, please send or email it to me. Also please delete the user name "Tighe" from your database, since that bombed. If I left anything out please email me at the above address, since I can't get in here. I can't contact the administrator directly, so I hope you can get this straightened out for me. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused. Thanks for your help again. PTighe"

Thanks, JohnZ

I think the admin was to "merge" the two and must have gone the wrong way with the merge. I will forward this back to the admin for review....

Sorry!
