Suggestion
I really like this site and the overall design is good, but I was thinking the buttons and some of the images need to be more car/vette related.
I took it upon myself to throw together 2 reply button ideas real fast.
You could use steering wheels, tires, car keys, logos... Or straight text.
I design templates for phpBB software, won several awards over the last 2 years. Id be more than happy to help out, if interested. No charge.
I can give a link to my demo site if youd like to see some of the work Ive done.

Interesting idea 
For this site, there is a "steering committee" where suggestions are made to the other supporting members. This section is supposed to be monitored by the forum owner for review of those suggestions.
Supporting Member Program allows access to that section. It also has other benefits

Well, if anyone wants to pass that info along to an admin or a member of the steering commitee, be my guest.
