Default ??????????

I am: fairly new owner of a high mileage 95 z51 (I think it is) & love it.
new to this forum and think it is absolutely great!!

Question: I see senior members, junior members, etc. on this forum. What is the difference, or who would I ask? Is there ever any fee for staying in the forum?

Hate to post this as a general question, but not sure who, or how to ask otherwise.

Thanks in Advance,
Andy

Well, first things first, welcome to the forum.

Next, for a small monetary fee, I'll make you a member (compared to Junior member).

For extra cash, and if your over 21, I'll make you a senior member.

All kidding aside, every step in membership (no fee required) is dependant upon the amount of posts you submit.

Welcome to the Forum, and welcome to Our Little Obsession. Congrats on joining both. It's a great neighborhood.

How 'bout posting a pic? There's a fresh thread going right now where a bunch of us have posted pix of us with our cars.

Be well,

SJW

Thanks for the welcome. Spent all my money, but am well over 21 (almost x3). Not so good, actually terrible, with computer and digital camera. Let me know which thread and I will try to post a picture if I can figure it out. If not here's what it is: 1995, z51, Lt1, fx3, and seems loaded with extras from factory, but no mods that I can tell. Black exterior (but looks deep blue under some light), black interior, no dings, rips, or any of that. It has always been a Georgia car and a daily driver as well. Guy I got it from was near desparate for pickup, he gave me the vette and some $$$ for my 1997 Dodge Ram ext cab. Pick-up had 214,000 and vette 181,000 when we traded, but both in outstanding shape for year/miles. OK, I am rambling on. Don't know if I can attach picture to this, but will try. Andy

They had to make me a senior member. I'm too old to be a junior anything!

Welcome to the land of good and plenty.
Lots of good people and plenty of information for the asking.
Visit everyday and you're sure to get an education in the proper care and feeding of your Corvette.

I was waiting for that. Needed someone to speak up. Ok--what exactly is z51? What years? Following something else I read mine fits the z51 description (steering 2 turns lock to lock),
and other extras on the car. Tell me what you know about it, I would sure like to know more, and sincere Thanks.

Look at your RPO sticker. In `95 it's located in the storage compartment behind the passenger seat.

Then check here to see what its got.

Then post your questions here so we can explain then to you.

And buy the Corvette Black Book by Mike Antonick. It gives a listing of options available for each year.

If you plan on working on it yourself, you should get the Helms manual too.

You can always ask a moderator if you have a forum related question or post in the "HELP" section(where this has been moved to).
