There are different moderators for different sections. Admins can act as moderators in certain circumstances. What can I help you with?

Default Personal attacks on me on the site

Hi,
Thanks for your quick response.
A few days ago I posted a tread asking if any of the forum members had heard anything about a valve spring problem on the new Z06. If you remeber a few month ago there ere several posts about a possible problem with the new Z valve springs. I was just looking for information as I have done on this site for almost 3 years.

A member, tetraU has been attacking me personally since the first post. I responded a few times then stated that I would take "the high road" and not continue to respond to his/hers attacks.

this person has implied that I am a liar called me a "friggin troll" and more!
Why are these posts allowed on the site. I pride myself on my integrity and I am offended by these posts.

Ok, I found the thread in the C6 Z06 Section.

There are two things to do in this circumstance, the easiest is when someone says something in a post that needs reporting, press the icon underneath their avatar in the offending post. This is the "report this post" feature. Once pressed, you are give an edit box where you state your reason for reporting that post. Then the moderators of that section will be alerted.

The next way to contact a moderator is to go to that section, scroll down to the bottom, and locate the moderator list. You can click on one of the screen names and you can PM (send a personal message) to that moderator.

You can do either one to report the offending post.

If you need to learn how to post pics, you can see some of the sticky threads in this section with info on how to post pics. That would show 'em

Hope this helps
