Disappearing Pics

Disappearing Pics

Any ideas as to why many of the pics that were posted here, including mine, disappeared???

The ones I checked looked like were hot-linking to that site. The ones that were still there were hosted from photobucket. So people that saved theirs to their own hosting site are still there.

I linked mine to http://www.imageshack.us/. They were seen for the first couple days, as were the others that disappeared, then they were gone.

I scanned that thread, saw 2 posts on front page and one asking why your pics were gone. I didn't see where you had posted your pics in that thread. Can you give me the post # to look at?

Could it be you had it posted in a similar thread in Off Topic?

Can you send me the imageshack link?

It does work, but that site turns off the hot link so the pic doesn't appear. Looks like if you take off the ?v=0, then it will work.

It seems to work now. We'll see it if disappears in a few days, like it did before. I noticed several pics of others also disappeared after a few days. Thanks for your help.
