They recently were put at the bottom of the threads. I believe that by putting these ads on a page, revenue can be generated by the forum.
Those ads work by collecting key info on a page you are visiting and then trying to show relevant sites that pertain to that key info.
You have not been affected by spyware.
They are not actual CF advertisers.
