Bold Letter Titles

Bold Letter Titles
Ok, I know when I've read a Thread, the title then has the non-bold lettering. So why is it when I look on the 2nd page of topics, there is a point where ALL topics are non-bold? And tonight, the non-bold ones started near the bottom of the 1st page.
Can someone explain the logic for me?

I don't know exactly when they change, but my best guess is that it has to do with when you last looked at a section and "cookies" that have a time/date stamp on when you visited last.
It is sorta like the envelope being open or closed next to thread titles. If closed, no new posts since you read it last....open envelope and there are new posts.
If you want a more technical answer, I may need to refer you to a vbulletin technical person.
