Every time I try to upload a picture for my Avatar, I get "upload failed" Talking with a fellow forum member on the phone at the same time, he can add/change pictures on his system What's up??

You may have exceeded the size allowed for avatars. They must be 150x150 max and 29k or less.

I am not sure what issue you are having with posting a pic in your signature. It is different that the avatar and profile pics. It requires hosting the pics on a web site, like photobucket, before putting them in your signature. There are several stickies above on how to do that.
If you can't get the avatar pic posted, e-mail me and we can make arrangments that way for me to take a look at it

From the forum, go to UserCP and Edit Avatar. There is an option to upload a pic from your hard drive.
